Arriving in Huskisson

We woke up  and got dressed and got on a train from Newtown to Central where mum got confused and made us lost and then got on another train from Central to Kiama. Then a train from Kiama to Bomaderry/Nowra. On the way we played i-spy and we saw the luscious countryside of New South Wales. We sat on the higher part of the train because it was a double decker train so we could see everything.

We went through some forests on the way to Kiama – it actually looked like a rainforest because of all the trees and vegetation and the water. From the left we could see the coast which was a beautiful blue colour just like the sky. When we got to Kiama we had to get on the train to Bomaderry/Nowra and we saw Kate and Steve on the platform waiting for us. That felt really lovely and we gave them a big hug.

On the way home we went to the supermarket in Nowra and did some shopping and had a sausage roll.  Then we went to the meat and fish market that smelt of fish that Steve did not like. We bought some lamb chops for dinner and some mince for chilli con carne on Thursday/tomorrow. Then we went home to the B&B that they own.

I have a room with one bed on the floor and a bunk bed and I get to sleep on the top and I have a TV. Mum and Dad have a nice double bed with doors opening into the garden and a TV and an iPod doc. They have a veranda at the front and an amazing garden at the back. They have two cats called Quokka and Chester and a dog called Sundae. Next door there is a school where they were trying to persuade me to go. I may go for an hour or so.

We had a quick lunch and went for a walk across the beach, which had really white sand. Me, Dad, Mum and another girl called Georgie were jumping into the waves and diving under them. Kate got a video of Mum doing a cartwheel and falling over. Mum was running into the waves being very embarrassed. https://www.facebook.com/polly.bamford.3 Then Georgie and I ran into the water and from behind the camera Dad sprinted in.
Then we got back and had delightful delicious dinner that was the lamb chops that we bought earlier and we went to bed because we were all tired.
